ADSL

A summary of ADSL internet connectivity

adsl

Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) (also called DSL) is the broadband service offered by Telkom delivering customers a significantly faster internet connection with a fixed fee. Speeds start at approximately 8 times faster than dial up.

What is required?

  • An ADSL line from Telkom
  • An account with an ISP. JustConnect supports bandwidth Bar as the ADSL ISP due to their good value and excellent support.
  • An ADSL modem. Usually this is combined with a router which allows multiple computers to use the ADSL connection.

ADSL is recommended for home users who use the internet a lot, or for businesses. ADSL is suitable for small to large businesses due to the range in packages.

JustConnect is able to assist with hardware for ADSL as well as setup and installation of routers and networks. Please contact us for details.

Why choose JustConnect for your ADSL service provider?

Not all ISP's are the same.  Some offer a lower quality of ADSL which results in poor internet connectivity performance.  JustConnect has selected the best service available to assure our customers of a top quality ADSL connection.  Our service utilises the SAIX (South African Internet Exchange) network which means that speeds (both upload and download) as well as latency are optimised.

We also provide our users with a super-simple portal to check on usage, view reports, change passwords and change usage notifications so you never find yourself out of bandwidth at an inconvenient time.  Click here to visit our usage portal.
